The Foodbank does not think anyone in the Caithness community should have to face going hungry. That’s why they provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to them in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, working to combat poverty and hunger.
To access Caithness Foodbank, you need to be referred by an organisation you may already be in touch with, such as Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB), Home Energy Scotland, or Ypeople. If you’re unsure about who can refer you to Caithness Foodbank, email info@caithness.foodbank.org.uk and they will be able to help you.
