James Mullery was 28 years old when he took his own life, leaving behind a partner, a family of three young children as well as family and friends. The charity, James Support Group was formed by James family and friends to help others in similar situations – having been bereaved by suicide, or having had suicidal thoughts at any time. The meetings are held in various locations across the Highlands and are free to join. It is a safe place to talk or just to listen, with people who completely understand what you are going through.
There are other options to contact James Support Group should you not be ready to join a meeting. The group run a private Facebook page, a 24/7 helpline, one-to-one sessions, and also have a clinical psychologist for people to speak with. You can find out more on their website.
